Thanks Lucas.

I like that list if for no other reason than I Have Holtby (#2) and Lundqvist(#13) IN A 14 TEAM LEAGUE. TWO goalies that high in a 14 team league bodes REALLY well!!!

Also, in my KEEPER League (just a 12 teamer), I have #4 and #5 in Talbot and Dubnyk. Seems "Goalie-wise" I am set up for a pretty decent year!!!!

Thanks Lucas. Keep these blogs coming.

I think Scott Darling may surprise many. Great young team flying under the radar.

For dynasty leagues, Saros is a guy that needs to be picked up and stashed away in the event of a Rinne injury this year and to get a heavier work load leading into next year.

Vasilevskiy, while unproven as a number 1, is the unquestioned starter for a team which on paper should win the north east, IMO.

Bishop who is often hurt could have a good bounce back year. Dallas could see a better defensive game this year under Hitch and with the addition of Methot.

Biggest surprise could be Rantaa. The Coyotes quietly had a great off season. Although they started from a very low baseline.

The bolded is true, how is Vasilevsky not in the top 15 considering his team is penciled to win their division / battle for top spot in the East?

You forgot the russian machine Lucas?

Nope I got him JUST outside (with Bishop), I feel he's not going to get as many wins because he will be in more of a 45-50 starts spot than a 60+ like most of these guys which will hurt his wins/shutouts.

Darling is also just outside the top 15 - he's got one of the better D cores infront of him and a very improved team overall.

I think Canes are the dark horse.

Saros could take over by seasons end/next year at some point...Rinne is getting old and his contract is almost done!

Quick/Jones are my two goaltenders this year, and i got them rounds 4/5 in a 12 team league. Do you think i paid the right price/picked the right guys?

I'm not convinced Tampa bay wants to send Budaj in there for 20 starts.

Vasilevsky is young, he can take the load.

I think Budaj starts 20 games...but they sure as hell don't want to start him for 30
